This is a mix that I was given in early 91....
I didn't know Yoz personally at the time, but this mix blew me away..There were only a couple of people in the North East who were decent mixers, but Yoz went one step further with the scratching and transforming he was doing with the records he was playing...
I got to know Yoz, shortly after I was given this mix and we've gone on to be good friends and worked on a few edits together...
He went from basically playing in his bedroom, to co hosting the Monday night "Elevation" show on Sunderland's Wear FM radio...In about 94, he sold his decks and moved into production - but has got the dj'ing bug again, and is back on the wheels.
