Once more, random as fuck, but as my last one was work related so is this one.....

If you are a DJ or promoter (or both) and you have a "normal" job as well, and you are asked what you do for a living, how do you reply?

Do you say "I'm work for ................. doing .............." or do you say "I DJ/promote for ..................."

Personally, I always give my normal job out as that's what I do for more hours, and it is the one I can rely on for money.
Plus I think it sounds really pretentious if someone said "I DJ, but I also work doing..............."

Surely, if your main income comes from your "normal" job, so it is that what you work as and DJing/promoting is a side?

What is everyone elses thought on this?

Yeah I always say proper job first, then DJ - mainly due to how it's always been, it's not a guaranteed income as it can go belly up at any time, so if you relied on it for a living you'd be fucked unless your a big named DJ of course, who gets several bookings a week!
