During the Jubilee Bank Holiday last year, I went up to Sheffield to a night called Sunday Blessed. I came across 2 tunes being played which for the majority would classify as "deep house", some with a tint of R 'n B/Soul or Garage House. Unfortunately, I couldn't get a half decent recording of the clips and there's a lot of background noise but you can hear the beats clearly with good headphones:

This first one is a non-vocal, deep house beats track:

My Movie9 - YouTube

The second one has male vocals and a style which makes me think that it has a tint of R'nB/Soul similar in vein to Guy, Chez Damier, Black Rascals etc

"I like the way you move in this.......spiritual night.....let me move everybody make love everybody"......

unknownmusic - YouTube

Also, to get a better picture of some of the tunes played on the night and labels, here is a list:

FPI Project - Rich In Paradise [Rumour Records]
Blaze - If You Should Need A Friend [Friendship Mix] [Debut]
Urban Soul - Alright [Cooltempo]
Whitney - Love Will Save The Day (Jellybean & Morales DMC Remix) [Arista]
Guy - Dancin' (Grant Nelson Remix 1) [MCA]
DJ Duke - Tribal Journey (The Sun Mix) [Earth, Moon & Sun]
Mario Dubbz - Other Cats [Tastie Music]
Chez Damier - Can You Feel It (Club Vocal) [KMS]
Dave Allison - Do That Hustle [Tastie Music]
Black Rascals - Keeping My Mind [Sumo]
Coldcult - People Hold On (Magic Juan's Dub Mix) [Ahead Of Our Time]

If anybody with some insight into this particular genre (I'll be the first to admit that this style is new to me) can please help me identify these, I'd be very appreciative as some of the music on my list above really impressed me.

I'm not sure but the 1st one sounds like a dub/beats version of "who keeps changing your mind" by south street player.

Thanks roco595. I've listened to them and listened out for the resemblance but can't really hear it to be perfectly honest.

Hi there,

It has more of a Melisa Morgan - Still In Love With You (Hard Love Dub) beat feel to it. Could be a bonus beat of this mate
