Conker's.....

:| I just have to ask the question as Ive had a rather random two weeks with Conkers!!!

Ive just been minding my own business driving my car quite happily when conkers have fell out of the tree and have hit and bounced off the roof of my car that hard that its well and truly scared the life out of me....

Apart from SB who I know god bless ya has had random shit fall at your car, have any else of you had randomness hot your car whilst driving?

A mate of mine had a near miss when a stone flew in through the side window and hit him on the left lens of his sunnies and shattered it

If it hadn't of hit him though it might well have hit me

Shit me was hit driving chuck? that could have been pretty scary for you if he was!!

My worst one was coming back from Shepton Mallet after a Dreamscape once and a bastard Pidgeon came reete through the window...

Now that was scary!

But its conkers for me this week thank god!!

I must admit Ive never hit any traffic cones but I hear you all too loud on that one

I've never hit one either, but you do see some strange things driving home when your head's

I had something hit my windscreen not long ago and it was so loud a bang that I nearly jumped out of my skin - i checked my windscreen and didnt see any damage thankfully (was around the time that your windscreen cracked SJ)

apart from trees on the m25 i had a HUGE stone hit my ibeefa on the motorway i fort it was gonna hit the windsreen but it bounced in front of me and then landed on the roof...made a dent en all

ive just scraped and alloy on my car today so im gonna have to get that done

conkers are horse chestnuts arent they, and arent they different to normal chestnuts? poisonous possibly i thought too? might be totally wrong but best check before you start munching!

hmmm ive already been munching a few he had pre peeled :| im ok tho so they must be just normal chestnuts - they look like the ones you get in bags at xmas time

and to answer the thread, not my car but when me and my mate Sam were driving back from Leeds one day last year , bollocking down the M1 and a frigging magpie flew smack headfirst into her wing mirror :s scared the living daylights out of us (and just the general living out of it I should think )

well make sure before you scoff down any more cos i did a google search and horse chestnuts are not the same as normal edible chestnuts (or sweet chestnuts) apparently and if you eat the wrong ones you can get poisoned and made ill. :S
