I've been to them all apart from the manchester one.
The bottom line I was gonna say is, if you're just looking for a taster then by all means go for the indoor slope, but if you're serious about learning, it's far better value in the mountains
You will need warm gear as it's basically a giant fridge with a slope or 2 inside. Basics are a warm jacket, waterproof pants, thick socks, gloves and hat, for extra warmth, thermals if you really feel the cold. So make sure you can get most of these things included in your package if you wanna do it fairly cheaply. For the mountains you need breathable water resistant gear. You can pick up a lot of stuff cheaply from TK MAXX though
It's a great activity to get into and i'd recommend it to everyone. If you need anymore advice then just ask here or send me a pm
These prices are stupidly high compared to the mountains though, where you can get a weekly all mountain pass for less than 100 quid in many resorts and lessons are far cheaper too. Often you get packages of lessons and lift tickets for beginners for about the price of a lift ticket.

Go off-peak, £17 for 1.5hours on the slopes, not bad value IMO.
Make sure you get there well before your allocated time though as the check-in desk can be a bit chaotic - I think they call it teething troubles with it being new and all that.
But don't let that put you off - it's great fun.

i took my youngest there at crimbo to see santa and play in the snow, he got about an hour for £9 which i thought was cheap enough. and he loved it. taking my other 2 there in 4 week to go sledging for a birthday treat. be warned though, its cold. get wrapped up. saying that i was just stood around watching him play.

When is offpeak adam and do they have board nights there like they have at the other snowslopes?
