Ive found a mixer in the states that without the delivery is 100 quid cheaper than over here.
Does anyone know if I will have issues with voltage or anything else?
Yeah sy's right. I had the same problem with a studio mixer i bought from the US. The voltage issue is easily solved though as he mentioned before, with the step down transformer
Resetting the voltage is usually realy easy, the mixer may even have a selection on the back. Import tax is a real hot topic at the moment as i think nearly everybody is buying from usa.....realy shite $ at the moment so realy cheap. Warrantee issues are the other thing...generally they will be uk, europe or usa, if you import accross then you may buy new but if something goes wrong with it you end up having to ship back to the usa to fix.
I have 3 different step down convertors for my setup
2x Denon S5000's have one each plus I have my Mixer plugged in also
Crown XLS Power Amp I had to buy a stepdown convertor for £150 (a right bad boy) to be able to handle it paired along side a Pair of JBL SF15 club monitor speakers. My neighbours love me
I probably have 10 step down convertors around the house with living in the US for 4nhalf years, the only problem Ive come across is I just ordered a Toshiba 37" LCD for the front room as my American TV wouldnt display PAL Xbox360 in HDI Mode, cant be having that LOL
