Was thinking about this, thought I'd put it out there for recommendations. Not mix albums, proper albums. I think the below are classics, but wondered what others people would recommend?

Leftfield - Leftism and Rhythm and Stealth
Underworld - Dubnobasswithmyheadman
BT - Ima
Portishead - Portishead
Massive Attack - Blue Lines, Protection

Am sure there's more I've forgotten. Others?

Ooops Ive got one dove and the KLF - Chillout!

Good call on Hybrid and Fluke. I remember people raving about Fluke, probably 93-5 but I never bought an album. Loved Way Out West around that time too but never bought the album.

Though I really love the Mondays and Black Grape I don't think of them as dance music for some reason. Nor the Music.

Not much from the last 10 years so far...

Meant to include the chemical brothers, nice catch!

Daft punk is a great call, I hammered it at the time and it still sounds great.
