Asylum Films!!!!!!!

On SyFy channel most nights they have a shit film on, really really shit. Asylum is a production house from Hollywood which spew out turd like films, and a lot of their films are on there.
Tonight at 11:50 is Supernova for instance, it scores a whopping 2.3 on IMDB, 2012: Supernova (Video 2009) - IMDb
Here is the main review on there for that film:
there is nothing positive to tell about this movie. Acting horrible - Story? "A scientist tries to save the Earth from the deadly blast of a star gone supernova." where are all the scientists, NASA experts, military, politicians, the president? One scientist is trying to save the Earth with the help of a Chinese woman (who obviously did not grow in China) and a half drunk Russian. Some poor Russian accent and a glass of vodka doesn't make a convincing Russian. Well yes there is a story, but it is really painful to see how poorly this story can be put together. Low budget is no excuse. I fell asleep after 30 minutes, don't waste your time and money on this flick
If you don't expect anything than utter shit you won't be disappointed. They really make us laugh though, they are so amazing shit sometimes.
Just to give a better description though if anyone might stumble across these films - they aren't actually badly produced or owt, they're just churned out so much just for the money that some things really suffer; most notably the script. For some of em it seems like the scriptwriters were just so chuffed to have finished they refused to even re-read the script for continuity, even once.
The whole cast can even change halfway though.
They are made so much solely for the cash that they are generally rip-offs from genuine sci-fi films - half the reviews on imdb are from people pissed off because they were fooled into thinking the film was the genuine article rather than the rip off. One dude called C Thomas Howell makes a lot of these films; scripts, directs, stars in. But the thing is he just looks like he can't be arsed being there - he's ace!
One other thing, these films are obviously best enjoyed wrecked, preferably obviously a sativa
