EDIT: Looks like I shared this a while ago. Never mind. You can't delete threads on here which is bizarre.

The first tape is also in the Swoon mixed DJ four tape pack that I ripped and shared on here a few years back:
Dave Seaman, Graham park, Tom Wainwright & Allister Whitehead @ Swoon 1995 (4 pack)

And tape 2, which continues from tape 1, is a new one to me. I came across it online today, include a poor quality image of the tape pack cover:

aw swoon small cover.jpg

Based on the tracks, and comparing to other Alli Whitehead mixes from the same time (that I cross checked on Scott's site), I made this March/April 95. I did some digging and found the flyer below from April 1995, which may well make this set from 7th April 1995.

I had a bash at Tape 2's tracklist, and am missing a couple. Would love to know what the last track is. Reckon is a booty.

Tape 1 - (tracklist from Scott's site):

1. Inner Souls - Tearin' Me Apart (Booker T. Main Klub Mix)) [Strictly Rhythm]
2. Androgeny feat Michael M - Let's Talk About Me (So Hard Mix) [Strictly Rhythm]
3. Pamela Fernandez - Let's Start Over (Underground Anthem) [Ore/Cutting]
4. Loleatta Holloway - Stand Up! (Dreamin' Mix) [Six6]
5. Veda Simpson - Oohhh Baby (Armand Club Mix) [Hi Life/Nervous]
6. [19:00] Shades Of Love - Keep In Touch (Body To Body) (Tribal Vocal Mix) [Vicious Muzik]
7. Alysha Warren - I Pray (Roger's Gospel Revival Mix) [Wildcard]
8. Kim English - Time For Love (David Morales Club Mix) [Hi Life/Nervous]
9. Anthony White - Love Me Tonight (Possibly the Sweet Mercy Remix) [Stress]
10. 2 In A Room - Ahora! (Now!)
11. [46:10] Black Sheep - North South East West (Pete & Russells' Progress Mix) [Mercury]
12. [50:20] Happy Clappers - I Believe (Original 12") [Shindig]

Tape 1 Download

Tape 2:
1. Happy Clappers - I Believe (Original 12") [Shindig] (very briefly - continued from Tape 1)

3. M People - Open Your Heart (LuvDup Dub) [Deconstruction/Epic Dance]
4. Kitsch In Sync - Another Night (Full Vocal Mix) [Hi Life]

I slowed it down. Sounds like the female is saying Our Song or maybe Power Song or something. The other vocal sounds like How Am I Joe?.
It's starting to bug me now, not being able to get what they're saying lol. https://vocaroo.com/19r0n5J4SoYb

thanks to HowseMowse vocal clip, could make out 'joe' in the vocal, done a discogs search for 'joe' & filtered down the results by year format etc '1994' & 'vinyl 12"'

Rednex - Cotton Eye Joe (Armand's Funky Trance Mix)

in the YT comments somebody says - She’s actually saying “Having some, having some, having some”

Annika, the female singer in the song sings this at the end of the first verse: "But all he had come for was having some fun".

Armand used that "Having some" as the main vocal-loop for this remix.

Top job! I can reboot my brain now, get it back to it's usual forgetful state. I'd been searching discogs for Our Song, Power Song, Our Souls and allsorts! Never thought of putting in JOE lol. That tune id was melting the old grey matter. :fekked: 😂 I should've Cottoned on sooner.

That's nuts @brady, when I was trying to ID it before I put up the post, i thought it sounded a bit like the Van Helden mix of 'Living in Danger', especially with the baseline and sirens...

Jesus, you can now here her saying "Cotton Eye Joe"... the 'How Am I Joe?' This is so random, but top work Scott 👌
