I was sat on ere whilst my daughter was watching tv, when she told me she had just found loads of ants near the telly, i looked around the back of the tv and OH MY GOD, there must have been about 50 - 100 of the bastards. :mad: :mad: So i have just squirted them with hairspray and then vacumed them up, lol!! I'm taking no prisoners. Does anybody know of any good ant killer? Im desperate! :cry:

a good ant killer is Nipon, its a powder in a white plastic bottle :thumbsup: I know this cos i have fekkin ants in my house too :mad: but they're coming out from behind the fire :| actually i aint seen any for a while now :) so yeah it's good stuff lol

Ha ha, i think that's the one i used when i had them pouring out from my fireplace in my old house!!!!!

They're little buggers ants, i had millions of them it was vile!!!!! That stuff worked really well though, they never came back. Apparantly they think it's food so take it back to the nest for all the rest of the ants to feast on then they all drop dead!!! It's quite brutal when you think about it but f@ck it!!! :mad:

I have ants too in my house, but they are just in the back where the utility and kitchen is. The powder does work, but i belive it only works on contack. The best i tried is the Nippon gel. You have to put a few blobs where they are, and they feed on this and take the poison back to the nest, thus destroying the nest. Although it took a few weeks, it did stop them completly. Its horrible having bugs in your house, it makes it feel all unclean.

Many thanks!! :thumbsup: I shall be trying that nippon stuff me! I remember using a B&Q one before, it was like a little green dish with gel in it, the ants would think it was food and would all eat the stuff only to poisoned!! YAAY! Is the nippon stuff available at B&Q? At the moment i have my vacuum at the ready, i must have hoovered up about 150!! Horrible little things!! :mad:

Thats the stuff we tried at the sunbed shop......the ants we get in there seem to come out at certain times of the yr.....(seasonal ants lol) :p

After using the stuff they go away for ages then re appear the same time the next yr..weird :confused:

They do that here n all, as soon as it starts getting warmer outside they reappear, i wanna stamp all over them but apparently if you do they come out looking for the dead coz they can smell them!! :cry: Bloody things!!

You could try what I did in our appartment in Teneriffe.

1. Put some food on the floor - I used bread.
2. Wait for the ants to come and feed.
3. Grab a lighter and can of deoderant / hairspray.
4. Torch the f*ckers.
5. Laugh hysterically, and grab another beer.

I've been trying to train 'em to bring me the Tv remote all afternoon, they keep dropping it tho'. :D

Holy shit, lol! Nice idea, but i don't wanna be torching me tv wires! lol
