    Mixers

Currently got Pioneer DJM 500 and have had for years, but it's giving me some problems at the moment. I'll either do one of several things... - get current one fixed - buy a cheapo spare - get a bad boy new one ...or maybe 2 of the above Suggestions welcome cheap or expensive

Q for the London-based vinyl hunters

Has anybody tried this place for tunes? BEANOS ...and if so, is it worth a visit?

    Organising Tunes

Not sure if this one has been asked for before, but I'm currently doing a big tidy up of my tunes and I had a very small light bulb flash away for a few seconds saying - why don't you get some vinyl separators like they have in the record shops? I'd then know when one label starts and one label...

    Headphones

Right, I broke my headphones during the week, so will need to get a new pair fairly soon. The current pair still work - one ear is no longer attached, so I'm not in a desperate rush. Not too fussed about budget - would go to about £150 max (though I'd prefer it to be cheaper). Recommendations...

    Software for mixing MP3s

I know this has been brought up before but I thought I'd double check again (especially seeing as products get new releases and all that). What do people use for mixing MP3s? ...and how do they rate some of the products out there?

    Uplifting Belgian Music Thread!

Right, I say there are more than the following: - Deck 8-9 - When I Dream (which is currently available here: http://www.yousendit.com/transfer.php?action=download&ufid=44AF742057B7DC38 for a limited period) - Cubik 22 - Night In Motion (I'll think of a few more shortly) ...but also fully...

    Happy days

I don't often get to fully complete a label but I did just that today. I now have every release on Nucleus Records. Only 13 records but quite tricky to get hold of. It makes it even better that I got the last one I needed (the NOW release) for a whopping 50p. As they say in the Fast Show...

    music software & scratching

A friend went to see Buck 65 the other night and here was his description... "went to see buck 65 last night who had this new thing. (buck's show is usually him, a DAT or something, a turntable, a mixer and a mic - he talks and rhymes and scratches inbetween) the new thing would appear to be a...

You've got to love it really. Bit of sunshine and the atmosphere completely changes. I'm just back from a 4 pint lunch (I did eat some grub as well) whilst sat out in a beer garden.    Makes you feel glad to be alive. By the way, where do all you women hide when it's...

    What tunes...

Have your parents actually liked when you have subjected them to your tunage? My dad couldn't give a shit; however, my mum occassionally said she liked some tunes she heard me playing I've got a couple that spring to mind: - Unknown Artist - Remixes Anonymous Vol. #1...
