I think thats a convenient excuse bad managers pull out of the drawer. Its a question of leadership and motivation skills.. just ask Fergie.
i agree that a bad manager can ruin good players but god himself couldnt do anything with a player such as titus bramble ( poor wigan ) ... so theres only so much motivation can do
