Hello All,
I am looking for the name of a song that came out in the late 1970's/early 80's.

I heard a sample of it recently used in a DJ set, and it brought back so many memories.

The sampled bit included the lyrics:

"All you bastards! Come here by my side! Listen honey, listen baby... Don't be so fucking serious!"

If anyone knows this song and could provide me with the name of the artist and track, and whether it is available on CD, I would greatly appreciate it.

Feel free to email me, or respond in this thread, or both.

Many thanks in advance!

Close, but no cigar

I'm actually looking for the ORIGINAL recording and artist that the sample came from.

But THANKS for the reply!

Hey Ruffers

I would say New Beat or maybe Italo Disco. The voice that spoke those lyrics sounded a bit Asian, and a lot like the voice on Yellow Magic Orchestra's "Tighten Up." I thought maybe it was from the 12" version of "Tighten Up," but I purchased an old copy on vinyl, and no dice. Someone emailed me and said that DJ Frankie J had used it as a sample on one if his recent releases, but I'm looking for the Original song. I apprecite your reply Ruffers, and hope this jogs your memory.
