lol Had a mint nite, didnt decide to go till last min as usual, my head was going, to me, to you, to me you etc

Anyhow went down with the main man Tall Paul, got there about 11.15, n it was bubbling away already, Tall Paul played a minter of a set, really liked it, built up from the real old stuff to a more pumpin vibe later, full marks

Next up was XTC (but Im sure Absolute played 1 or 2 but maybe I was just pissed lol), he played a really good set also, 1st half more mixing and playing some old house, next half was more his usual cut up and scratch stuff, best tune he played, Ladies with an attitude, Yee haaa, went mad to that!

Last on were the rezzies Butty n Recca, again mint tunes being played, loads of topple your head type tunes and fine mixagephones:

Atmos was really good no trouble in there and I would reccommend it. So get yourselves down there! Its on every week so you cant go wrong.

I got absolutely bladdered and I have just woken up with a massive hum dinger of a hangover, but its nowt a bacon butty and a cup of char wont sort

Shouts to the OSA massive, had some good laffs/chats with Butty, Recca, Dannst, Blue Jams (will PM you m8), Woody (top guys!), Miss Tickle, ClaireB, Lou Lou (top birds!)

Briefly saw cano, rabbit n bubbles, but you got off early

Yeah thanx everyone for making me welcome! (oh especially Claire B ) As i was walking in I thought, "wtf am I doing walking into a club on my own to meet a bunch of peeps I've hardly ever met!!" But everyone was really friendly and fun, cheers

Was an unexpected but great night! Definately beat Ampersand, which I'd walked out of because it was the biggest pile of crap in the world btw and i'd advise everyone to stay well clear, unless you want to laugh at the "i want to be trendy, but I'm not doing a very good job of it and trying to look like David Beckham twats"

XTC did a great set, was good to hear all the classics, but next time Dannster, we'll have to specifically request the "Awsome 3, rice and pea" tune so we can groove to the moves!!!!! Where did it go...............?????

Sorry I didnt hear Tall Pauls set, but it was really nice to meet you, you very tall guy you lol

Butty and recca got it pumping and the end, sorry I jibbed before you finished :$ Was a bit dazed from recently lack of sleep and hadnt popped any narctics to keep me awake!!

Hello, head has just returned to some kind of normality lol

Well. had a very strange one at first on the journey in, as it took nearly an hour to get from my house into Stockport centre, the traffic was mental - some rugby thing or sommat had been on and it was all gridlocked everywhere you tried to go :S

Hoped on a 192 bus into town and was just coming up on sommat when 2 girls and 3 guys started kicking off big time, guys were proper punching and kicking these girls in the heads, was proper grim and my head had flashbacks to that grim night at the zoo and I almost threw up on the spot :S

I fucking hate violence

Anyway, they got ejected and it resumed normality and me head settled down thankfully.

Got into denvers about 10:30 ish and was already feeling the nice effects and a bit wobby on me legs, I asked the door guys where the cloakroom was and followed their directions only to try and walk into the girls bogs and then turned round before I got down the stairs to see butty at the top looking just as puzzled as I was lol :S

(I've never been in there before ya see) lol

I had a good night in there, despite the initial sound system trouble, it was soon tweaked and sounded alright. No trouble that I noticed in there - The music wasn't all my cup of tea, but that said, it did break the night up, as there was a mix of old old skool and new old skool (as I call it) the later stuff 93-95 I'd say.

XTC played a decent set, but (sorry!) the MC's ruined his set, and generally annoyed me to fuck all night - told them both off haha
Thing is, if they stuck to just a little bit here and there it wouldn't phase me, but they don't know when to shut up, and rabbit over a lot of the best parts of the tunes, so where you are just about to get the rush on say Shades Of Rhythm - Sound Of Eden, they'd start mouthing off over it "yeh, denvers is the place to be, place to be, place to be, every friday" etc blah blah blah

Good to hear Tall Paul as well and butty and recca playing back to back, or should I say, proper up on the left for butty who was pissed as a fart lol lol

Funny as fuck moments in there, which if memory serves, include;

Me saying to butty "it's a bit bright in here innit" and him laughing and saying "nah, that'll be the drugs mate" lol - wasn't though, was proper lit up I thought haha

Me standing at the bar for about half an hour, nodding me head to the tunes and grinning me titties off, then suddenly realising where I was, and I was meant to go about ordering one of them drink things :$

Learning what hugs and snogs were again, thanks to all for the help there

Getting a bottle of water from the bar and being full on confused at when I turned the top round a few times it came away in me hand, to be left with a stopper thing that I couldn't work out how to get any water out of the bottle, so I just held onto it for a while, looking it in it's water bottled face like this urging it to tell me how to get in it at the water

I did manage to get in it, phew, but then thought the top that had come away was a glass, and went round asking if this was normal?! (WTF?) and why these glasses in the club were so small as I couldn't get much water in it and instead decided I'd drink straight from the bottle - result! - err almost, missed me mouth and soaked me t-shirt with half the bottle :$

Going to the toilet (mens this time) and being freaked out as there was a black fella in there with a mad perfume stall who insisted on talking to me whilst I tried to work out what a piss was and how to do it.
I ended up telling him that I wasn't normal and couldn't talk and piss at the same time, so if it was ok with him, could he please do the talking in a bit, as I badly needed a piss
He then mumbled something about only 1 paper towel, and did I want spraying?!?! I got out of there as quick as poss as I was getting scared by then.

Those were a few that spring to mind, and Ste J making me laugh loads by coming over and giggling at me, was buzzing off you

Was great to see the usual suspects out and about, and to meet some new-uns - namely;

Misstickle (Yay!) you're lovely top to properly meet you and have a boogie woogie sorry about the phone incident, I couldn't work it as I'd forgot what a phone was and how to speak when you rang and then when I did try and hear ya, I couldn't hear a thing and just said "hi, i'm fucked and it's great in here" haha

Claire B (did meet you at 808/dry bar) but good to have a natter and giggle and Vicki (nob) - sorry I got confused, I thought you were trying to say you had a knob which I found really funny, but then was pointed out that you are a (nob - not on board) ahhh phew, lol - enjoyed our "you like this tune" "you like that tune" debate that kept popping up haha

How mad was the big leather backed seat thingy, it had a tiny seating area, and a huge back of leather that went all the way up to the roof, and the very top of it was all red, orange and yellow colours coming out of it on the brick wall behind it - mint! (or was I just seeing those colours?)

Right, that's me spent, not slept since 6am Friday morning, kerrrrrazy

Lots of fun and frolics afterwards as well, noice

lovin the get on the floor you sexy dancer by dan , and you did really get on the floor mate , got video evidence to prove lmao ..........

timeless was rockin again to the sounds of the mark xtc , doing well there guys

nice to see butty recca lou lou ste b j helen and to meet claire , didnt see you though miss tickle .

Aye had a good laugh in there as always. Had a buzz at Club Classique first doin a back to back to back sesh with Lee and Cano then on to Timeless for a buzz with da crew. Really good atmosphere in there I thought and startin to recognise some regulars and have a buzz with them now. Big shouts to all the crew and Mizi for comin down on ya own, had a good bop on the dancefloor wiv ya, was all fired up for the awesome 3 dance - ready with my whoooo Tsssshhhhhh and he whipped it off! Respect to Butty Recca and Quey for creating a good vibe. Buzzed off XTC as usual Tune of the night for me was that Jungle crew - Electric dance. Top scratching aswell by XTC really ripped it to bits. And the Brothers in Rhythm Butty and Recca with the Finale - top one! Missed Tall Pauls Set which I was gutted about but can't wait to hear the CDs I believe it was a top set well done mate Nice one to Lee and Woody for the liftage aswell cheers Guys
