i am trying to add a tape to my laptop. i have an ASound CMedia external sound card with line in. i can record but on the recording roughly every 20 seconds the sound slows for around half a second. this happens throughout the tape recording on the laptop, but the original tape in the tape deck sounds fine.
i have tried upping/lowering the recording bitrate but there is still the slowdown.
also the problem occurs whether i use nch recordpad or audacity.
please can anyone help?
