Imagine what it was like being there live, Sasha played this set in a fairly modest open arena at around 5am just as the sun was coming up, fook me it was a magical moment for me and one thats sticks in my mind more than any other time phones:

Plus it was my birthday, what a birthday pressie! :thumbsup:

Quality, truely one of the best Sasha sets

Brady, thanks for sharing this set, it's quality. First heard it in Australia in Dec 1996 after being given a recording from a visiting English mate and over a few listens realised what a unique gem it is. Have never tired of it much to m'lady's chagrin - she jibes I'm a broken record! It always gives such a fresh energy. There's musicality and variety in the programming as well as this genuinely feel-good impression that Sasha was having a fun up there too. Who cares about him dropping beats? Not me. What I'd give for a time machine! Grateful if you can recommend any further Sasha sets like this one.

Pure Bliss.............

I've been tracking this baby for ages now after first listening to it at Uni, my mate had it on tape circa 1993/94 (so seeing now it was from Universe '92 must have been fresh at the time..!! lol)

I got it on CD today (3/12/2009) after meeting with him yesterday and then tracked it down on here after hearing the MC mention it was a Universe gig....Now I have the track list too!!

It is his missus 40th next year and they've asked me to DJ...chances I can get some/all of these tracks on MP3...??????????

What do you lot reckon?

Don't know if this has been mentioned before but just before the needle incident, you can hear that he's mixed out of That Kid Chris into the Radically Lonely Mix of Club Lonely. Credit to Judge Jools (I believe) for putting the needle back on, but the intended version does fit the vibe of the set much better.

He mixes out of Bellbottoms & Platforms pretty swiftly, like "Thanks but no thanks" :D

This is the only place I've found an upload of Radically Lonely Mix -
18secs in you'll recognise the woosh and deep laugh
