Yes you are right about this place, a funny shop, has been for as long as i can remember.. thing is its so expensive their because people still keep giving these italian tunes loads of hype and i dont know why? I once spoke to Phill (shop owner/debbie d's brother) about this and he says he keeps the prices like that coz he was the one who imported all the italian tunes back in the day, i used to buy from their now and again back in the day but soon learnt my lesson, although the tunes i got i could prob sell on here or ebay and get what i payed due to all the hype!! And its not just that shop that gets these prices, i know a guy who was a drug dealer circa 90 to 95, he had so much cash he would drive to melody house and buy all the top top zone tunes (when they were considered fairly cool, by our lot anyway) and he didnt give a monkeys how much they were..DaleTheDisc is currently selling said collection on ebay and i cant believe the amount some of them are fetching... maybe its because of melody house the prices are so silly, all i do know is the tunes in any normal shop are as u say worth like £10.. In melody house they were selling such a good feeling for £30 hahahaha last time i was their.. and the back of the shop looked like a bomb had gone off. Phil knows he gets slated, but people do still pay these prices, and thats why he wont reduce them...He has almost every tune possible (zone) and im not sure if any of you guys are familiar with the old zone tapes but their is a tune, "the next train" which was big @ the venue and at preston, i was told they'd want £800 for that tune if they had it.,. WTF????????????????? Iv not been in the shop since.... Piano madness also sells for £50 their, like £5 at the Disc in Bradford..lol mad shop...
