This is pretty awesome, a lovely early MAW mix.

I came across it on another old hard drive, labelled 'Masters At Work @ Evolution, San Francisco 1992'. When I looked it up online, I found the flyer on eBay, being sold by a guy in the US from the exact night - what are the chances??! The flyer is dated Friday July 3, but not year, but when I checked July 1992's calendar, 3rd July was on a Friday.
After a bit more research, I found the following info on 177 Townsend Street, which turns out was a bit of warehouse vibe back in the day... Pic from 1992:
177 Townsend / 174 King Street
In 1992, Audrey Joseph, Bill Camillo and Les Dirks took over the struggling Club Townsend. After the death of both Camillo and Dirks from complications of AIDS in late 1993 and early 1994, Joseph formed a partnership with Ty Dakota.
Before long the club started to attract world renowned DJs as well as talent like: Grace Jones, Cyndi Lauper, Erasure, Prince, Blondie, Chaka Kahn, AC/DC, & The B-52’s to name a few. This is where Club Universe made its lasting impression on the city’s nightlife.
