How Come Forum Sites Still Pick Your Name Up If You Go On Them When You're Banned?

Here is a question that only a modulator might know.

I just went on the other site which I'm banned from and the bar comes up saying that I've been banned. I then found another way to listen to the radio station without going on the website. This site lists about 6 old skool radio stations including OSA. Whilst listening to it the DJ on the forum site I'm banned from still gave me a mention even though I'm banned so it must pick my name up as been logged in. How come it still picks members names up when they are banned from a forum site?

It picks up ur IP addy pal.

Just use a web portal, it would pick up the Ip of that then
