Yes there were Some dodgy mixes, it looked like he was struggling with the laptop/cdjs on a couple of occasions and a few shit tunes (50 cent) but as surprised as i was to hear Needing u i thought it sounded fucking ace and got a great reaction (as it did in brum this weekend) <img src="/data/assets/smilies/kssqs7y.gif" class="smilie" loading="lazy" alt=":head:" title="z head banger :head:" data-shortname=":head:" /> Really enjoyed his set overall and was pleasantly surprised to see his slumming it with us lot down at the front. Top Guy<img src="/styles/default/xenforo/smilies/classics/king.gif" class="smilie" loading="lazy" alt=":king:" title="azking :king:" data-shortname=":king:" /> </p><p></p><p>Up next was Fast Eddie who stole the show. Technically was the best DJ on the night and really tore it up for the crowd, all his tunes went down a storm and had the place bouncingphones: <img src="/data/assets/smilies/kssqs7y.gif" class="smilie" loading="lazy" alt=":head:" title="z head banger :head:" data-shortname=":head:" /></p><p></p><p>Jessie Saunders followed that and also played some great tunes, especially in the first hour. Strings of life, Goodlife and lots of old classics and seemed to be really enjoying himself too singing and dancing along to most of his tunes.. Always a good sign IMO <img src="data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7" class="smilie smilie--sprite smilie--sprite8" alt=":D" title="Big grin :D" loading="lazy" data-shortname=":D" /> <img src="data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7" class="smilie smilie--sprite smilie--sprite6" alt=":cool:" title="Cool :cool:" loading="lazy" data-shortname=":cool:" /> </p><p></p><p>This was never going to be a night for the joe public oldskoolers, and full credit must go to Ian for putting together something that I doubt will ever be seen again on one billing... knowing full well that it wont be to <em>everyones</em> tastes and he could be left seriously out of pocket from it.
