After a great little launch it's part 2 of our 3 week Sunday residency at the Sally - consider it "The Empire Strikes Back" of the trilogy - possibly a little darker but likely to be the favourite of a lot of people. Hopefully a few of you can make it down for some lovely music, fine company and free BBQ. Picture the scene… A Sunday in Manchester Village - in a much beloved Victorian era Public House known as The Salutation – unspoilt and untouched by the modernization of many of the buildings surrounding it - a sumptuous soundtrack of eclectic music is provided by DJ’s Adrian Luvdup and Paul Hughes as they bring their Eclectic Circus Roadshow to town for a second outting. Yes, kick back, relax and soak up the sumptuous sounds of Northern Soul, Ska, Funk, Psychedelia, Afrobeat, Disco, Balearica and all points in-between as the complimentary culinary treats provided cook away on the barbeque, filling the air with smoky mouth-watering aromas. Monday morning seems a long, long way away. You are cordially invited to The Eclectic Circus Roadshow from 6pm – 11pm on Sunday 5th July at The Salutation Public House, 12 Higher Chatham Street, Manchester, M15 6ED An eclectic selection of music will be provided by disc jockey’s Adrian Luvdup and Paul Hughes, with a complementary barbeque generously provided by the landlord. Admission is free and all are very much welcome. * Please note that in a scenario reminiscent of Ibiza 1990, the local authorities have forced us to move the decks indoors. Boo! However, there will still be speakers for the music outside - yay!
