I was never a fan of them, I found that got in the way and ruined the flow of the night, although I booked one for a event I put on BITD

Bowlers used to have a PA nearly every week, On the one hand i heard Qsound - Goodnight blow the roof off for the last tune of the night NYE 94, On the other hand i watched Apollo 440 having several hundred people throw water bottles at them and hurl all sorts off abuse at them until they had a tantrum and stormed off stage (apart from the drummer who stayed to the bitter end and tuck a bow
legend)On other occasions i was so mangled i never even noticed the PA had been on
