added a couple of changes to the forum, the first one is a new requests section. This is now seperate to the vinyl wants section, the new requests bit is under the music category and is for tune/mixes and tracklist requests.
this has been put in place to the growing amount of people who just come on OSA to request things without joining in or contributing to the forum.
you now need to make 100 posts before you can request in the requests section. any requests made in any other section of the forum will be deleted.
the second new addition to the forum is a change in how the events system works. when adding a new event instead of adding to the calendar and then having to add another event in the club chat/meetup section it automatically adds your event to the calendar and does a new post in the club chat forum.
also if you are attending an event then instead of replying to the event and having to get the event edited and your name added to the meetup list it now adds you automatically,
we are also clamping down on post bumping of events on the forum, if we feel that you or anyone to do with the event is excessively replying to an event to keep it up at the top we will remove posts and if needs be remove events.
we can offer extra exposure for your events in the way of sticky posts at the top of the events list, for more information please contact me
