just lay in me bed and heard a police helicopter aka a chopper go over head so it circles for a bit then ferks off back to its pad then 20 mins later its back again. and then it did it again about another hour after that. now my question is doees anyone know where the 'helipad' (what a mint word) is for the manchester dibble chopper coz surely common sense would tell u to move the helipad to salford and then all they gotta do is take off and hover and there there. would save loads in fuel.

and i bet the driver dood gets proper narked when he gets back to the helipad and they send him straight back out again to the same place!

U MEAN INDIA 99 MANCHESTERS NOISY HELICOPTER..... the heli pad was somewhere in stockport butty.. see ime a mine field of useless information

India 99 was originally based in Gorton but after complaints from residents it was relocted to Barton.

India 98 was originally planned to be stationed at Woodford which is in Stockport but again due to objections by residents and other problems it was eventually stationed at Manchester Airport .

here's a thought, instead of wasting fuel and time in the chopper why not use an air ballon and tie it to the back of a panda car. then mr plod can stay up there a lot longer - and he won't be waking mr b up.
