Club set ups.....

Anyone ever played a tune in a club and the setup of equipment fooks it up?

IE, last night was working ina cheerfull little place and was arm twisted to play SLD, opted for the extended mix and cued up, all was happy, wasnt till half way through the first verse i realised the lyrics had been cancelled out by a setting on the amp lol. Also happend with parradice a few weeks ago :/

SLD is a funny one like that... I remem someone posted summat about it v similar saying it was how it was recorded / eq'd on the mix itself..

i recorded a mix with it on at eastys and for some reason the vocals were practically none existant on the recording :S bizarre :|

Yeah, the vocal is out of phase, so if you're playing it back over a mono sound system then it practiaclly vanishes.

There's a jimi hendrix song which I forget the name of where the guitar solo disappears when you listen in mono lol

lol fkin madness, just recorded it and played it back in mono, how mad is that hehe, cheers tim
