How do all.

Just thought id share a couple of new scratch routines that ive recently made and posted on my website and youtube.

The first video focuses more on some standard cuts along side some faderless cuts and needle dropping.

The second video is more of a melody cut with some tone tapping thrown in.
Here the youtube links;-

Cheers guys for the compliments:thumbsup:

Im glad that most people prefer vid 3. I really like that kind of scratching the most. Im really getting into the tone tapping, pitch manipulation and melody cuts, more and more. One the next vids im planning is going to push this side of things a bit further and expand on this style of scratching.

Hey Jonno am i right in assuming your the guy that posted on the Scratch vid 3 youtube page. If it is you then its very much appreciated. Cheers:thumbsup: .

Yeah that's me - no worries.

Is that a Rane mixer you're using btw?

Yeah its the TT56i. I swear by this mixer now. Its best and by far the most durable scratch mixer ive ever owned by miles. The magnetic crossfader is built like a tank and whilst still being very light. Ive had this mixer over a year now and theres no sign of any wear. I used go through 3 crossfaders a year with my old Ecler Hak360.

Ive been thinking about asking the admins for a set. I wouldnt be able to scratch to the above standard if i was trying to do it over old skool/house speed music. Its nigh impossible to do a lot of these sorts of cuts with that speed of music (unless you're Qbert). Although if i ever did an old skool hip hop set i could slip a few things like the above in. Maybe i should ask the admins....:drum:
