calling someone 'Roundarse' if they're fidgeting about

to a lad ... "you'd forget your bollocks if they weren't in a bag..."

and if you're being nosey and not minding your own business .....being called "beaky", "necky becky" or "hawk eye" but for some reason my Grandad :)heart:) used to adapt the latter one to "cork eye" which made no sense at all, so used to get me and my bro sniggering, which earned us an even more :ba: look, or a telling off :D

aww :D :love:

Not sure that theres many southern words or terms.
And I dont use many.

Gavvers = police
Have a word = stop taking the mick/think about what youre saying
Jog on = piss off
Jap'eye - The hole a man urinates from, to put it bluntly lol
Carboot = Car Boot Sale
Plum - bell-end

I have lots of Dennean'isms though & things I picked up off my parents who are both Londoners. :D

Daft as a brush = Stupid
Rubberneckers = people who slow down to look at car accidents
Plank = idiot

@ Tricky Nicky - I call it the 'dirty bin' :D

Cos it's the road wot goes to Hagley!

All the main roads tend to get referred to like that round here - 'The Pershore Road', 'The Bristol Road', 'The Alcester Road' etc etc. Makes sense to me, unlike the whole 'barm cake/breadcake debate which follows no logic at all :p I used to work in Rotherham and Sheffield a lot, and nipping into Greggs and trying to order a bloody sandwich at lunchtime was a lot more complicated than it really should have been...:confused:

^^^ What he said :D

Did make me laugh when you posted that Teece - not thought about it before :D

Also inbreds who call Alcester 'All sess ter' should be shot - everyone knows it's pronounced 'Ulster' :D

wtf's that meant to mean i dont speak no different from you Alan do i? only thing what winds me up about people from stoke is they have to refer to everyone as "duck" for some unknown reason. "pint please duck" "10 fags please duck" etc etc
