Used to go in there quite a bit, sometimes before the hac or before Yellow at the boardwalk - sure it was owned by the same guys who ran dry bar?

yeah the canal bar was just down the road from the hac, we always went there before goin to the hac ( well the city road in in the late 80's) there was a dj on called danny who was 1 of a few dj's ive rated, he was wicked, think hes playing downstairs at 1 of the bars on the arches facing deansgate train station. well worth a listen
